$3 Admission Days at Zoo Boise Make Their Triumphant Return
2025 isn't a year that we would describe as "affordable." Traveling? Expensive as hell. Entertainment? Expensive as hell. Sitting at home with all those monthly streaming services? Expensive as hell.
This next option, however, is affordable as heck!
$3 Admission Days are back at Zoo Boise let's gooooooo!
It does what the title says.
Zoo Boise is bringing back it's uber-popular $3 Admission Days, where you can see the amazing features at Zoo Boise for only...you nailed it...three dollars.
Here's how it works. Every Thursday from November through February of 2026, Zoo Boise is offering $3 admission per person. That's it. No fine print. Just $3 admission.
Even better, Zoo Boise has gone above and beyond, offering free entry on $3 admission days to those who are EBT/SNAP cardholders. Bring your card and a valid ID and you're good to go.
According to Zoo Boise Director Gene Peacock (great name), it's all about family:
As a thank you to the community for supporting Zoo Boise throughout the year, $3 Admission Days are the perfect opportunity to visit your favorite animals, explore the zoo, support wildlife conservation, and create new memories with family and friends. We’re proud to provide affordable experiences for everyone to enjoy the zoo year-round.

Look, a girl can dream, right?
While we're not likely to see these animals at Zoo Boise anytime soon, that isn't going to stop us from fantasizing and wondering what it'd be like.
Could you imagine? So cool.
