
Cult Leader Said To Have Built Creepy Cross Near Idaho Border
For those who live in a community south of Franklin, Idaho, over the border into Utah, one landmark that was reportedly built in the forties by an alleged polygamist, cult leader, and serial killer still attracts explorers to this day.
Located approximately 80 miles from the southern Idaho border and south of Ogden, Utah, is the community of Kaysville. The city is home to roughly 32,000 residents, according to the United States Census Bureau.
Kaysville is also reported to still be the home of a Mormon fundamentalist family that has resided there for over 100 years, and is rumored to have a very dark past.
Alleged Murderer Said To Have Built Structure in Woods South of Franklin, Idaho
The Kingston Clan still have kin and disciples that live in this northern section of Utah, according to Atlas Obscura. Charles Elden Kingston, founder of the Davis County Cooperative Society and the Mormon cult 'The Order', reportedly had a hand in constructing a 20-foot tall structure on the outskirts of his property more than 80 years ago, according to the SPLC Center.

According to the SPLC, the site became known as Kay's Cross, which was nearly destroyed over 25 years ago. Although it was never proved, Kingston is alleged to have murdered multiple wives and carried out nefarious, late-night gatherings on his property.
