Bumper stickers are our way of sending messages to fellow motorists in a non-confrontational, safe way that still opens us up to being assailable. Bumper stickers often lead to road rage, which can be deadly.
I'm a massive fan of bumper stickers. It's a protected form of free speech. Whether or not you like what is stuck to the bumper or window of the car next to you, they have a right to their opinion. People need to remember, it's just a sticker; they're not screaming in your actual face.
No matter how worked up I get over an issue in life, I don't choose to cast my frustrations onto highways and parking lots in the form of vinyl sheets plastered to my truck. I promote peaceful things from my vehicle, like music and nature. But again, 'to each their own.'

Online Debate Sparked Over Sticker On Idaho Motorist's Car: Are You Offended By It?
I came across a social media post from December 11, 2025, that resulted in many Idahoans responding to a bumper sticker that was photographed and shared on the Reddit/Idaho website.
'Ok, I will bite, what exactly did I ruin. Or, are people like this just whining losers seeking attention,' was the title of the social media post. The photo (for those who can't access Reddit) shows a light-colored Infinity automobile with a bumper sticker shaped like Idaho that reads, 'Here Before You Ruined It.'

More than 150 people commented on it in the first two hours. The reactions varied from anger to support, and many found it to be humorous or inconsequential.
