Animals are my biggest weakness. If it is fluffy, adorable, has four legs, basically isn't a human, I want to touch it. This spring you can actually do that at the Burley Straw Maze as they bring back their Animal Days!

Animal Days At The Burley Straw Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Last year was the first year they brought in a bunch of animals for people to interact with. Imagine a giant petting zoo with slightly more exotic animals. Just slightly more exotic.  Some of the animals that are going to be there will be ducklings, baby goats, puppies, llamas, alpacas, baby raccoons, yaks, camels, and so much more. I would go just to pet a baby raccoon! I might get in trouble for trying to take it home with me. According to the website, you will be able to hold and pet many of the animals. It does not say all and it does say that animals may vary the day of the event.

Things To Do At Animal Days Other Than Pet Animals

There will be lots of fun family events at the event. Tractor display, a dog herding show, you can even watch sheep shearing and try your hand at milking a fake cow. For an additional charge, you can do swing, tractor, wagon, and bull rides.

Make Sure You Come Hungry And Bring The Entire Family

Food will be available to purchase. Bring the entire family, it is going to be a ton of fun. Animal Days is April 7th - 9th and April 14th - 16th. You can get more information about tickets here.
