Johnson, whose great-aunt Gladys Stircker lived at the ranch as a child, will discuss the history of Rock Creek Station and Stricker Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on March 15 at the Herrett Center for Arts and Science on the College of Southern Idaho campus.

The discussion, titled “Oasis in the Desert,” is part of the center’s Herrett Forum, a monthly series of presentations generally held the third Wednesday of each month during the school year.

According to the center, topics are coordinated by the Herrett Forum Committee, a group of community individuals dedicated to bringing high quality presentations to Twin Falls.

Herrett Forum lectures are free and open to the public. For questions or more information, call 733-9554.
