Most people will say that you should get Mom something for Mother's Day because she raised and birthed you.  However, I will tell you that you better get Mom something for Mother's Day if you want to live.  Safety first.

If you are spending Mother's Day in the Twin Falls area, here are a couple of ideas to help you.

Enchantress - This is for Dads only!

We all know how you made those beautiful children.  Shake things up and visit Enchantress.  If you're like my husband, I'm ALWAYS rubbing his back.  Maybe this time, you could rub her back?

Mom's love chocolate and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is basically a fantasy land full of chocolate delights.  Seriously, it's amazing in there.  They even have  doggy-safe treats.  From chocolate dipped strawberries, to pretzels with chocolate...Trust me if mom loves chocolate, get her a box of chocolates and she will love this gift.

Get Her Flowers

This is an oldie, but still a goodie.  Mom's love flowers.

Here is what you do: make sure you send them to Mom's place of work or wherever she is surrounded by other jealous women and make sure it's in the middle of the day so everyone sees them.  Yes, it's a tad shallow, but Mom's love this crap.

Gather up the whole family, put on your Sunday best and sit down together for a great meal together.  Another classic Mother's Day gift that moms just can't get enough of.

Give Mom A Day Off

This is where you can really personalize your gift to mom.

Here's the general gist: clean up the house, make mom breakfast, then take the kids and leave her alone for a day with the DVR and a bag of bon-bons.  She'll thank you later.

Don't forget Mother's Day is Sunday, May 12, 2013.  Get her something or else!  I don't want to find out what would happen if you didn't get her something.

On a serious note, if your Mom is living in the same state as you, please know how absolutely jealous I am.  My mother is all the way back in Florida.  I miss her everyday and I'm sure that for Mother's Day, we would both just love to spend the day together with each other.  Love you Mom!
