Balanced Rock

There is one landmark in the area though that people are told to visit, that in my opinion isn't worth the trip and is overhyped.

I wanted to see if the lasers were powerful enough to light up Balanced Rock, and what I saw after switching on the projectors still gives me chills when I think of it, even though the photographs don't do the experience justice.

A few months back I wrote that it was overrated. I have recently revisited and would like to update my stance on the infamous rock.

Just a few feet from reaching the top where the rock itself sits on its pedestal, I began hearing a sound that I couldn't quite identify. My daughter was with me as well, and she also heard it.
