Southern Idaho is home to a handful of spots I spend a lot of time kayaking at. I like less noise, and the opportunity to tune in to nature when I'm out.
We cooked some hotdogs and bratwurst Tuesday evening at about 6 p.m., played some cornhole, listened to some music for a bit and launched our kayaks with about two hours of daylight left.
Thanks to a brand new video that's just been shared on YouTube, you can know what it's like - kinda - to kayak Deep Creek when the water is at its best.
Give us some free time here in Southern Idaho and it's very likely we will find a way to jump in our kayaks as soon as humanly possible. With all the spectacular rivers and streams around here, who could blame us? Box Canyon? Check. Take a little drive north to Hell's Canyon? Hell yeah, literally.
