Karaoke takes a special breed of human beings, and some of the most popular oldies, classic hits, and mainstream modern chart toppers are being nuked by people who believe their voices are way better than they are on a nightly basis worldwide. We think we've stumbled upon a list of the top songs that Twin Falls high-note heroes are probably butchering.

We all have that one friend who absolutely loves going out to karaoke. Mine lives three hours away so I don't get the opportunity to see her very often, but there's a good chance she's chasing three to four glasses of wine to some Blondie at this very moment.

Let me start by saying I'm no karaoke singer, and I know many people take the hobby VERY seriously. My karaoke resume has one song on it, and I performed it sometime around 2007 at a packed bar with a friend and I remember very little about the "performance." The song was "Hard to Handle" by the Black Crows, and I'm just grateful that audio of the duet doesn't exist.

At least, I hope it doesn't.

I came across a Reddit conversation chain from a few months back that named the best places in Twin Falls to sing karaoke. I hope the list is still accurate because in all my years living in the Magic Valley, I never once sang karaoke. The Internet is full of so many terrible karaoke singers it's hard to believe.

If you have friends who regularly hit the local pubs and restaurants for an unforgettable evening of wailing into a microphone in front of a lyric-fed monitor and seven other people, then according to singa.com, these are the jams they are likely murdering:

And Yes, Tennesse Whiskey by Chris Stapleton is number one.

2. "I Want It That Way" - Backstreet Boys

3. "Sweet Caroline" - Neil Diamond (Don't you dare!)

4. "Bohemian Rhapsody" - Queen (Why would anyone attempt this song?)

5. "Dancing Queen" - ABBA (Check please!)
