A pub without a jukebox is as annoying as walking into a sports bar and seeing Court TV on the main flatscreen. Drinking establishments should have the option of music, and real sports at all times.
My brother has managed bars and restaurants for over 25 years. He used to say that you can tell a lot about the competency of a bartender based on what they have playing on televisions. Court TV, poker, soap operas, and news channels are all no-nos, according to him.
The only time I go out to a restaurant or bar to catch a game on the television is if it's a really important one that I can't get at home. Otherwise, I choose music. Being a massive fan of billiards, I like me some rock on the jukebox while I rock my opponent.

National Jukebox Day will be here on November 26! Some of my personal favorite jukebox jams to hear out include "Intergalactic" by the Beastie Boys, "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin, "The Four Horsemen" by Metallica, and "Dust on the Bottle" by David Lee Murphy.

The website J Borden named its Most Popular Jukebox Songs of All-Time. Their top three, according to data compiled in the United States, were "Hound Dog" by Elvis Presley, "Crazy" by Patsy Kline, and "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley and the Comets.
Other popular jukebox tunes in the U.S. include "Don't Rock the Jukebox" by Alan Jackson, "Brown-Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard, according to Victrola.
