UPDATE: The Twin Falls Taco Bell is open once again. When asked what caused the closure, the only reason given was, 'unforeseen circumstances.' They would not answer anymore questions, but they are open again for business and have resumed normal business hours.

Businesses all over Twin Falls have continued to shut their doors and many have done so without explanation. One such place that closed this week has left many scratching their heads. Taco Bell, located on Blue Lakes in the Magic Valley Mall parking lots has closed. If you check on Google, it says they are temporarily closed, and on the Taco Bell website, every day of the week says dine-in and drive-through are closed. There are no signs on the door and there was no notice of a possible closure. When attempts were made to reach the Twin Falls Taco Bell, as well as the Taco Bell media relations team, both attempts were concluded without a response. Keep an eye here for updates, when we can confirm the reason behind the closure and for how long.

Taco Bell Closed in Twin Falls

With the only Taco Bell in Twin Falls closed temporarily and the closest ones being in Jerome or Burley, it begs the question if Twin Falls needs a second Taco Bell. It is not uncommon to drive to the one in Twin and see a line of around ten cars or more stretching into the mall area. There are multiple McDonald's, two Burger Kings, two Dairy Queens, but only one Taco Bell. I understand that the town is only so big and there is only so much real estate available, but with how popular the fast-food chain is and how crowded it usually is, should there be a second one?

A second Taco Bell say near Addison and Washington would be perfect. It would be on the opposite side of town and spread out the rush that often fills the one that Twin currently has. With the one closed at the moment, if there was a second one, then maybe people would still be able to get their fill without having to drive a good distance.
