What would you do? What would you do if you were in a drive-thru, had an emergency, but realized you had cars behind you, in front of you, and had a curb blocking you in? It isn't uncommon for a drive-thru to have a curb blocking people into a lane, creating you to be stuck if some emergency were to come up while you wait in line. Should these curbs be taken out and what do you do to get out of line when stuck?

Anybody that has driven through a drive-thru has been in that spot where the line is long, people are behind them, people are in front of them, and they are stuck by a curb or some sort of blockage. Your phone rings and an emergency comes up such as your wife is in labor, your child or children need something, or the significant other needs you home as soon as possible. What do you do? If you have a truck you may be able to pop a curb, but the Taco Bell, for instance, is up on an incline, and not safe to do so. Should fast-food chains, consider these blockades when creating their drive-thru?

What do you do if you are in line and get that call that your wife is in labor or you have to get home due to an emergency? Do you tell the person to wait while you get your hamburger, tacos, or other food? Typically, you would think you are safe if going through a drive-thru, but things happen. Pop the curb, honk your horn, try to reverse, these are a few of your options, but typically they won't work. As long as a curb isn't too big it won't be a big deal, depending on your car and if it goes into the street or not. If you are lucky enough to have an open area on your right, then you can just pull out.
