Looking for your "a-ha" moment?

You may want to throw on a pair of sneakers and head out for a run by yourself.

A new survey of more than 1,000 people from Don Francisco's Coffee has found that Americans claim relaxing alone is when they have their most inspiring moments, with 78 percent saying that's the case. Seventy-three percent said they feel inspired while walking or exercising.

Perhaps we need to chill out by ourselves or hit the treadmill more often, then. When asked how they would rate how inspired they are on a scale of zero to 100, the average score was 66.

As for who motivates and encourages us, look no further than your relatives -- immediate family topped the list, with 88 percent saying they're the most inspiring people in their lives. Teachers were easily the most inspiring profession, with 73 percent saying that field leads the way.

Politicians were named the least inspiring -- only 17 percent said lawmakers can spur them on to great heights. Unless you're a late night talk show host, who's inspired to make jokes about politicians' antics on a daily basis.
