Last Saturday night father and son raced for the Championship win.  Both Dan (dad) and Casey (son) Pehrson were tied for points and the only thing left to decide was Saturday night's race.

It was close but in the end a fourth place spot in the final race, gave Dan Pehrson enough points to claim the Commercial Tire Super Stocks Championship for the first time in his career.  That left son, Casey Pehrson taking the second place spot.

That was not the only Pehrson with a win that night.  Mitch Pehrson (above), another son of Dan's, had the Brennan's Carpet Street Stocks Championship on lock with a massive points lead and he still finished Saturday night's race in second.

The SPI Transportation Super Sixes were back at Magic Valley Speedway for the third time this season.  Here's who won:

  • 1st Place: 20 car of Jason Skyberg
  • 2nd Place: Michael Anderson
  • 3rd Place: 44 car of Ben Hinkle

Quale's Electronic Junior Stingers Winner:

And for the 4th time this season it was “the blonde bomber” Makayla Woll bringing home the win.

O'Reilly Auto Parts Thunderdogs: John Henkle in the "Hoffa" car secured his first spot in victory lane and this was just his first start of the season.
