Would An Idaho Hunter Have Shot This Playful Deer?

A Wisconsin video that shows a very unusual interaction between a hunter and deer has gone viral. That made me think. Would you, as an Idaho hunter, have done the same thing?

I'm putting this out there because I know several hunters in a few different states. I would guess the majority of them would have shot the animal before it got 10 feet from them. I say this not because they are bad people, because that's what you do when you go hunting. Putting a gun down as a deer approaches just doesn't happen.
