Only In Your State

We pass along lists like this from time-to-time. Most of the time, I just pass these along and move on. However, this new ranking which claims 2 of Idaho's poorest cities are here in the Magic Valley has a big caveat. Hang with me, and I'll tell you why.

According to one major website, you won't have to travel far if you want some of the best donuts in Idaho. One Twin Falls eatery has been called out as THE place to get your donut fix.

If you want to celebrate Christmas in Idaho, there is one best place to do it according to a brand new ranking.

Twin Falls has it going on when it comes to Christmas lights. Or, at least one street in Twin has brought its A game in lighting up the neighborhood.

Perrine Bridge has been given a nice honor. It's been named the 3rd Most Amazing Man-Made Wonder in Idaho. You would think that would be a good thing. Not so fast.

It's always nice to make a good list. You know the kind I'm talking about. Those that don't refer to us as "ghetto". One of our own Magic Valley towns has been called out in a good way as one of the best small Idaho communities.

Only In Your State has put together what they consider the scariest road trip that you can take in Idaho. It starts near Pocatello and continues all the way through the northern part of the state. There is only one location in Twin Falls that made this list. Hazard a guess at which one it might be?

According to one website, there is a city in the Magic Valley you don't want to be out at night in. Do you dare guess which of our own has received this unwanted honor?

Only In Your State said it. I didn't believe it. So, I looked it up. They may be correct. Idaho maybe consumes more of this than any other state. Wanna guess what it is?

Summer isn't over yet. We have almost a month to get all of the summer craziness out of our system before Fall officially starts on September 22. That's one reason we're extremely psyched that 2 of our Magic Valley swimming holes have been declared among the top 10 in all of Idaho.

When someone refers to us as weird, we wear that as a badge of honor. That's why I was not offended in the least when Only In Your State just declared one of our Magic Valley locations among the weirdest in all of Idaho.

In the Magic Valley, we know a good finger steak from a bad one. That's why it comes as no surprise that 2 of our restaurants have been called out as the best places to stuff your face with finger steak.
