Christina Aguilera Explains National Anthem Flub
Honestly, I didn't even notice the mess up...and honestly, it's all about the recovery. And she recovered nicely. I mean I didn't even see the "oh crap, I mess up face." But the kick ass singer, who actually sounded really good singing it, even though she messed up, explains herself:
"I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place," says the star. "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."
I felt it and the fellow party-ers I was sitting next to at the Pressbox didn't seem to notice her mess up either. Wonder why? :-)
