Have You Had An Encounter With Southern Idaho’s Shark Dog?
I just returned today from taking a couple days off for a kayaking trip a few hours north of Twin Falls. I saw some of the most beautiful country I'd ever seen before, and while floating in Stanley Lake, my eyes were drawn to a new species of aquatic wildlife I had never seen before.
This is Cody. Cody is a "Frenchie," or French Bulldog, if you must have the appropriate breed name. I must say, when I first saw Cody's fin skimming across the gentle, blue waters of Stanley, I had to do a quick beer count to make sure I wasn't grossly impaired.
I chatted with the dog's owner in the parking lot as he was preparing to leave Monday afternoon. I told him I too owned a bulldog, but of the English variety. Cody was perched atop the truck's steel tool box eagerly awaiting the ride home when I was granted permission to snap a few pictures.
Apparently, he's a bit of a celebrity in these parts. Have you seen Cody in the waters of southern Idaho?
