Idaho Named Safest State In US – Almost
Idaho has been named the safest state in the country - almost. Homesnacks has a breakdown of all the states and we landed nearly at the top of the list. So very close.
Homesnacks used, more or less, scientific data to determine which states are safe and which ones are cheating death. Murders, robberies, car thefts and assaults were all factored in. After all the numbers were crunched, Idaho came in at #2 behind Vermont.
The good news is that we all know Vermont sucks.
The statistics show that Vermont has the lowest property and violent crime in the nation. I would argue that very few people in Vermont have property. I also think there are plenty of violent people in Vermont, but they just have bad aim.
So, in my opinion, Idaho should be listed as the safest state in the US since Vermont obviously isn't up to the job.
