Businesses have been closing locations nationwide over the last few years. It is one thing to lose a restaurant and miss your favorite food, lose a retail shop that you enjoy shopping at, or lose a business that you want. Losing a bank is another story though as it can affect you in terms of withdrawing money, depositing money, or how far you need to drive when needing to stop in a physical bank. One major bank is set to close multiple locations nationwide soon and some of those locations will be in Idaho, Washington, and Utah.

Banks closing is always a concern because if all the locations near you go away, it could lead to needing a new bank moving forward. One of the biggest bank chains in America is US Bank, and they recently announced they would be closing locations nationwide. Around 320 branches of US Bank will be closing in 2025. When it came to the reasoning for the branches closing it came down to technology. While many Americans still go into banks and deal with branches in person, more are using mobile banking than ever before, making the need for some of these branches less vital than they once were. If you haven't gotten mobile banking, you may want to as the more time goes on, the more branches will close moving forward. There will be eight locations closing in Idaho, two closing in Utah, and four closing in Washington.
