Local Business Closed in the Gem State
Idaho is one of the fastest-growing states in the country, and many people are flocking to the Gem State. The more people move here, the more businesses are also coming. Over the last few years, many new businesses have opened around Idaho, giving residents a wider selection when it comes to shopping, eating, and making money. Sadly, throughout the last few years, many businesses have closed as well. Some have been around for decades, and others have only stuck around for a couple of years. Recently, another store closed in the Gem State, after only being open for a couple of years, and residents may not be aware that they are gone.
Business in the Magic Valley Closes For Good
Over the last few years, many new businesses have moved into the Magic Valley, and sadly, far too many of these new places have closed after only a couple of years. While a couple have stuck around, more have shut their doors and left the Magic Valley. Another one has joined that list recently, as The Sodamix has closed its doors. Their last day was back on February 28, but you may not have known if you didn't follow them on social media or if you haven't tried to stop by recently. The sign on the building has now come down, after months of being closed, indicating that a return is not in the works at this time. With a prime location and a drive-thru, it'll be interesting to see what fills the area next.
The Sodamix in Twin Falls
The Sodamix in Twin Falls originally opened on December 15, 2022. It was located at 1553 N Washington St and offered a variety of mixed sodas and cookies, including a weekly special one. The cookies were made fresh daily, and they also had ice cream, pretzels, nachos, energy drinks, and milk. The location seemed ideal near Walmart and the high school, but ultimately, they were forced to close their doors after being in business for just under two and a half years. With a drive-thru, it made for an easy get-in and get out if you wanted a drink and some cookies on the go. The company was started in Blackfoot, Idaho, and the good news is that there are still four locations open, with one in Blackfoot, one in Chubbuck, one in Shelley, and one in Utah near Spanish Fork.

The good news is that you can still enjoy The Sodamix, but the bad news is that you will have to drive a way to get to the nearest one.
