For country music fans in southern Idaho, one of the most popular recording artists on the planet has just booked a nine-date residency 490 miles south of Twin Falls.

I've taken the drive from Twin Falls to Las Vegas to see shows on numerous occasions. I find the drive to be pretty easy, and of course, there aren't too many better cities in the United States to see your favorite band play. For Idaho fans of Luke Bryan, I've got some good news for you about the five-time entertainer of the year.

Bryan just announced a residency at the theatre at Resorts World in Sin City. Bryan joins fellow recording artists Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, and Michael Buble to have upcoming shows booked at the venue. According to concertfix.com, tickets range from $95 to over $500. Front orchestra seating is the most expensive ticket at the venue, with balcony seats being more budget-friendly.

Bryan has nine shows scheduled so far. Those dates are February 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25 and 26. All shows have an 8 P.M. start time. There is no mention of any opening bands as of yet. Bryan is considered one of the biggest talents to have never won a Grammy Award.

Resorts World is located at 3000 South Las Vegas Boulevard. For more details about the venue, call 800-445-8667. I know Bryan has a pretty massive following in southern Idaho, so if you can pull this road trip off, I'm sure it will go down as one hell of a good time.
