January is known to be a month when many people fall into a sort of gloomy state of mind. There is a name for this affliction, and it's often confused with certain forms of depression.
I've noticed that as I get older, cold weather and dark clouds drastically affect my mood. I require a lot of sunshine and warmth in my life, so between November and March, I tend to get down more, and not in a disco kind of way.
