Shape-Shifting UFO Resembling ‘Cigar’ Reported In Southern Idaho

Idaho has just had its third reported sighting of unidentified aerial phenomena in the past couple of weeks. From reports in Grangeville south to Idaho Falls, three unexplained objects were witnessed and reported to a national center investigating UAP claims headquartered in Washington State.

Unidentified aerial phenomena is a global occurrence. People are either believers in extraterrestrial existence or they're not; there's no in-between. A 2023 poll reported that over 40 percent of Americans believe in alien life, according to Ipsos.

The witness took a photo of the white object that she claimed had an "aura" around it and moved with no sound. The witness also stated in the report that the object "morphed," or changed form or shape.

The Pentagon recently released a report that stated the majority of what humans believe are UFOs are actually just "ordinary objects," according to reuters.com. I spent years living in southern Idaho's Magic Valley and saw my share of some strange stuff in the sky.

The National UFO Reporting Center has been investigating and publishing reports of incidents for decades. Since June 18, there have been three reports to the NUFORC originating in Idaho. Witnesses in Grangeville, Idaho Falls, and Boise have all contacted the center in the past 16 days.

The most recent report took place in Idaho Falls. A mother and her daughter saw a "cigar-shaped" UAP in the sky while sitting in the backyard on the afternoon of June 28, 2024. The witness took a photo of the white object that she claimed had an "aura" around it and moved with no sound. The witness also stated in the report that the object "morphed," or changed form or shape.

Details of the incident were published by the NUFORC on July 2.
