Smashing Pumpkins Cancel Ford Idaho Center Arena Show

The Smashing Pumpkins have cancelled an upcoming September performance in Nampa. No official explanation has been released by the band, but poor ticket sales are expected to be behind the decision.

The Pumpkins are currently on the road for their Shiny And Oh So Bright tour, which had included the Nampa stop on September 7, at the Ford Idaho Center Arena. I was first given a heads up about the cancellation on Friday, but the date was still posted on the band's website. Having bought three tickets myself, I was not very pleased with the news.

Today, I confirmed the news with IC Tickets, the company I purchased my tickets through. Refunds will be processed this week by most ticket sellers.
