I know a lot of you are going to say both, but let's pretend for a second only one of these options is available for whatever reason. Maybe you just got super full and the only thing you can eat is one or the other, which one do you reach for?

I have had Thanksgiving dinners without ham but never without turkey. I have had Thanksgiving dinners with prime rib and those are my favorite. I have also had Thanksgiving dinner that is nonconventional and gone to a restaurant.

If you could just have one which one would you choose? There isn't much in my opinion that is better than a deep-fried turkey, or a smoked turkey, or baked; pretty much any turkey. Ham is alright, I usually eat some of it but for some reason, the ham isn't as satisfying to me.

Thanksgiving turkey makes the best leftovers as well. Having a cold turkey sandwich with the leftovers piled on top of the turkey and smashed between two slices of bread. Now that is heaven right there.

I know a lot of people think that Thanksgiving is way more about the sides than the main dish. Side dishes on Thanksgiving are usually the same or similar. You have your mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, macaroni and cheese and yams. But Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a turkey. I think Thanksgiving can still be successful without ham. There I said it.

If you had to pick just one, which would you choose?
