According to the nominator, Justin Jensen works for the Burley Fire Department as an EMT and also puts in extra hours with the Rupert Fire Department. The nominator said that while she was trying to do CPR on her husband, Justin actually saved her from a heart attack. The nominator said Justin has done charity events for a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma.

According to the nominator, Sandra Ochoa is a giver. She and her husband serve breakfast for Veterans, help with Western Days and she is always available to help others. The nominator said that she is taking care of her mother on top of helping others as much as possible.

According to the nominator, Kristina Bastian founded a non-profit organization called First Responders and Friends. They do community service projects for the elderly or people in need. Kristina also puts on a Christmas luncheon each year to make sure the community has a hot meal and a gift.
