A small tornado was recently captured on film touching down southeast of Pocatello, Idaho. Some people online are referring to it as a "guitar tornado," while others are comparing the images to an inappropriate gesture.

One Idaho resident managed to get some great video of a rare Idaho tornado that began taking shape this week in the sky between Soda Springs and Grace. The area where the funnel cloud formed is approximately 58 miles southeast of Pocatello in Caribou County.

Those who happened to be driving through the area at the time had to have had a good laugh. It's not often that Mother Nature tells you to go "F" yourself.

I've seen some crazy cloud formations in my time living in southern Idaho. The region also gets the occasional rolling thunderstorms which have produced some epic lightning bolts over the years. The desert storms are one of my favorite things about Idaho.

This week's tornado was both rare and humorous. Those who happened to be driving through the area at the time had to have had a good laugh. It's not often that Mother Nature tells you to go "F" yourself.

The only thing that would have made this event better is if it had happened on April Fool's Day or the final day to get taxes filed. The footage is quite impressive indeed. I doubt we witness another weather event this offensive for a long time.

Happy Friday Idaho! Watch out for those rude twisters.
