It really is the most wonderful time of the year. When people decorate for Christmas they literally light up the world and people travel great distances to see some of these special light displays. The Magic Valley is home to some impressive displays of Christmas cheer but one of the most famous light shows in the world is just a few hours away in Salt Lake City. The lights at Temple Square bring in people from around the world and inspire those who visit to spread that Christmas cheer wherever they go. This year the lights are set to inspire from November 29th to December 31st, 2019.

You can see the lights in the mornings and the evenings, plus the Temple Square light show features handmade paper lanterns, various nativity sets, and live music concerts. If you have never seen the lights, check out the video below to get a taste of what you'll be able to see.

If you can make the three hour drive down to Salt Lake City, you'll definitely be treated to a great light show. If you can't (or don't want to) make the drive, don't miss out on the great Christmas light decorations right here in the Magic Valley. The Candy Cane House, Curry Crossing, Rock Creek lights, and the Orton Botanical Garden are must-see locations in the Magic Valley.
