Our friends at Roadsnacks have declared which cities in Idaho are the most conservative. 3 of the top 10 are in the Magic Valley. Wanna take a wild guess which of our cities made the list?

The towns least likely to vote for Hillary in the upcoming election include the following:

  • Jerome #9 (Percent Conservative: 71.91%)
  • Rupert #4 (Percent Conservative: 78.04%)
  • Burley #3 (Percent Conservative: 85.21%)

Wow, Burley. 85.21% conservative? You guys may make Donald Trump look like a flaming, card-carrying ACLU liberal sunflower.

How did Roadsnacks figure this out? Here's how they explained themselves.

The cities with the highest percentage of voters who voted republican in 2012 were crowned the most conservative cities in the state

I normally take issue with Roadsnacks blogs that try to rank our cities since they incorporate data and sometimes opinions that may or may not be accurate or accepted standards. Their "Ghetto Cities" list immediately comes to mind. But, on this one, I'll give them credit. Their rankings are based only on recent voting records. It doesn't get much more accurate than that in my book.

What about the other side of the aisle? The most liberal city in Idaho is (drum roll, please) Hailey.
