Cheesesteak Day Coming; Guess Which Was Made In Philly Or Idaho

National Cheesesteak Day is coming. One of these sandwiches was made in Philadelphia, and one was made in my kitchen in Twin Falls. Do you know which one is which?

Being an Eagles fan, I celebrate the start of every NFL season in September by making homemade cheesesteaks in our kitchen and watching the movie "Invincible." It's a tradition I've been doing for many years.

The photos (above) are live action shots from 2018's kickoff party in our kitchen in Twin Falls. The first time I tried an authentic, Philadelphia cheesesteak, was in 2013. We stopped into a place called Jake's Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, on Chestnut Street, which at the time was known for having one of the city's best sandwiches. My love affair began that afternoon.

National Cheesesteak Day is Sunday, March 24. Celebrate with a creation of your own. I have to say ours are always good, but there's no touching a Philly-made one.
