New Twin Falls ID BBQ Joint Settling In Nicely To Start 2026

For those in southern Idaho who haven't driven up Kimberly Road in Twin Falls in a while, a new take-out food and catering team in a familiar location is getting ready to begin it's fourth month of 'putting Idaho barbeque on the map.'

Last week I passed by 1186 Kimberly Road for the first time in a while and saw smoke billowing from a barbeque and a man in a dark jacket doing what looked like seasoning some meat. I remember seeing videos during the Christmas holiday of someone dressed in a Grinch costume waving at motorists as they drove by and wanting to head over there, but things got too crazy and I didn't have the time.

Just the other day, a family friend brought by a couple of breakfast burritos from Magic Valley Food Dude, which held its grand opening at the former Shake Out location back on November 1, 2025. I was very impressed by what I had; I don't know that I've had a better breakfast burrito in Twin Falls County.

Magic Valley Food Dude Opened On Kimberly Road In November And Is Cooking Up Great Food

According to their Meta page, they offer catering as well as grab-n-go burritos from their new digs. Their menu offers burgers, cheesesteaks, milkshakes, Texas-style BBQ, pulled pork mac n cheese, donuts, crab and shrimp dishes, jambalaya, and other items. They have received very favorable reviews on their Meta page.

A video shared to their Facebook page from December 22 shows a local food guy sampling their burritos and giving glowing reviews. If you haven't tried Magic Valley Food Dude, it's about time you swing by.
