Let's face it, some humans have way too much money. Pokémon is a worldwide phenomenon, but it's primarily been trading cards that have raked in the cash for sellers, until 10 months ago.
One of the most unbelievable auction buys to take place in recent history happened last March, when a mixture of cornmeal and sunflower oil inspired a fan of Japanese gaming and animation to dig deep into his pocketbook and write a check for the equivalent of a brand new Porsche Cayman.

The buyer of a bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos in 2025 was able to cash in on the amount of $87,000 thanks to a wealthy Pokémon collector who just had to own a Charizard-shaped snack. Sadly, no snack food I've ever opened has brought me that much joy.
