New Twin Falls ID Mexican Eatery Opens: Celebration Party Is Saturday
Southern Idaho fans of Mexican cuisine are having their dreams answered this week. A new Twin Falls restaurant is preparing for a grand opening celebration this weekend.
To the people in town who say that the Magic Valley has too many eateries specializing in Latin American cuisine, I say you can never have too much of a good thing.
Wednesday, as the snow fell in Twin Falls, I drove down to the Marketplace at Canyon Springs just before 11 A.M., after being tipped off about the new restaurant. The sign above the entrance at 1357 Blue Lakes Boulevard read, Restaurante Y Tacos El Paisa. 'El Paisa' translates to friend, or countryman, in Spanish.

A Meta (Facebook) page named GG-Good Food Idaho shared the announcement that the new restaurant was open to the public on January 22. According to an online search, there's a location in nearby Jerome as well.
