Get ready to use the four-wheel drive and ice melt throughout the Magic Valley again very soon as a cold front is headed to southern Idaho Wednesday night into Thursday morning, according to The National Weather Service. There's a chance of intermittent snow for a period of 72 hours which means several inches are possible before the storm clouds move out of the region.

Area resorts such as Pomerelle, Magic Mountain, and Soldier Mountain are forecasted to get major accumulations late next week. Skiing conditions over President's weekend should be ideal for those in southern Idaho who like to tube, snowboard, and ski.
