Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper And Hollywood Vampires Playing Vegas
For anyone who has ever wanted to see rock icons Joe Perry or Alice Cooper on stage, you're going to get your chance in a few weeks. Oh yeah, and Johnny Depp plays guitar in the band also.
The Hollywood Vampires was originally formed as a celebrity social drinking group by Alice Cooper in the seventies. Gatherings often included Cooper, and musicians such as John Lennon, Ringo Star and Keith Moon, to name a few. They would gather at the same place, that site being the Rainbow Bar & Grill in Los Angeles.
Five years ago, Cooper assembled a group of musicians to pay homage to victims of alcoholism. The group of musicians gathered by Cooper included Aerosmith's Joe Perry and actor Johnny Depp, who has been a long time guitar player himself. The group kicks off a brief, six-date tour on May 10.
The band is performing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on May 10.
