Tattoo lovers are all about freedom of expression.

Some of these expressive, artistic designs that are inked two millimeters under our skin are deeply personal, while others are done for humor or to convey feelings for a particular thing that brings a person joy, such as music, animals, or loved ones.

The last tattoo I got was my eighth, and it was in 2020. I was recently asked by a new Twin Falls resident who stopped by my work where I would recommend he go for a tattoo. I honestly didn't know what direction to point him in because I've never had one done in the Gem State.

I've had tattoos done in Nevada, Hawaii, and California, but I've never had one in Idaho. It's not because I don't trust Idaho artists or think they aren't capable, but when you're recommending one of these individuals to another person, you should know what you're talking about.

Tattoo Artists Work In A Trade That Requires Skill, Creativity, And A Strong Stomach At Times

Tattoo artists are surgeons and therapists all rolled up into one. I have nothing but the utmost respect for these men and women. Someday, I'll be able to answer the question that guy had for me; I've been itching to get another one done.
