Should You Wear College Gear If You Didn't Go to the School?

Say love just love the Boise State Broncos, yet you never went to school there...Is it still OK to wear Bronco gear even though you didn't go to school there?

I can see both sides. My alma mater is the University of Florida. So when I see someone wearing a Florida Gator shirt, I instantly ask them when they attended school there. Most of the time I'm saddened when I find out that they are only fans and never went to school there. I love that they are a fan, but I'm sad because I wanted to connect with them on the collegiate level. What say you?
