A recent 130-mile drive northwest of Twin Falls resulted in what might be the best dish of nachos my wife and I have ever had. The restaurant's location is also perfect for anyone wanting to get some shopping in or check out a movie on IMAX.

This dish was about as close to perfection as I've ever experienced.

I'm not saying that some Magic Valley restaurants aren't serving up delicious plates of tortilla chips drowned in tasty ingredients, but I just had a dish that I'm going to need to drive two hours to get again very soon. After handling some business on Wednesday afternoon, my family and I stopped at the Boise Spectrum Center on Overland Road for some lunch and a showing of A Minecraft Movie at the IMAX theater. I loved the film, but not nearly as much as I enjoyed the nacho plate at Legends Sports Pub & Grill.

The last time I raved about nachos to friends was after leaving the Ground Round in Twin Falls. Nachos aren't a menu item I usually order because I've had so many terrible experiences from restaurants that put no effort into this appetizer. Now I have another go-to spot when the craving hits me.

We ordered the beef nachos that came with pico de gallo, jalapenos, melted cheese, onion, and all drizzled with an insane smoked pepper crema; the side cup of salsa was unbelievable also. This dish was about as close to perfection as I've ever experienced. The staff was friendly and on the ball, and the restaurant is about 100 yards from the entrance to the IMAX theater.
