Last week, Coach Petersen left his tenure at Boise State University to become a Washington Husky and finally BSU has announced the new 2014 head football coach.

Former Boise State assistant Bryan Harsin, after one season as coach at Arkansas State, has accepted an offer to replace Chris Petersen as coach of the Broncos, a source told ESPN's Joe Schad.

Bryan Harsin, who is 36, served as Boise State's offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2010, which earned the Broncos two BCS bowls and a 61-5 record.  Here's the best part:

He should also be familiar with many of the Broncos upperclassmen, including junior quarterback Grant Hedrick, who was recruited by Harsin before leaving for Texas.
