Updated Schedule of Events and Parade Route For the Jerome County Fair

Fair season has arrived in Southern Idaho. The Jerome County Fair and Rodeo begins this weekend with the parade on Saturday morning. There’s a new parade route due to construction along Main Street and there will be six days and nights of events at the fairgrounds.

The fairground events will begin next week.

2026 Jerome County Fair Updated Parade Route and Event Schedule

One big change to the fair this year is the updated parade route. The parade will happen on August 8th, the Saturday before the fair begins, beginning at 10 AM. The route this year is just under 2 miles and follows the Homecoming Parade Route, starting at Jerome High School and ending at Jerome Middle School.

• Starts at Jerome High School on Tiger Dr
• Heads North on Tiger Dr to 10 Ave E
• Turns Left (West) Onto 10th Ave E
• Crosses Lincoln Ave
• Ends at Jerome Middle School (Floats Will Exit on Date St)

The following week, beginning Monday August 10th through the 15th, the days and nights will be filled with events, food, vendors, and carnival rides.

Schedule of Events for the 2026 Jerome County Fair and Rodeo

Over the six days and nights of the fair, there will be multiple nights of rodeo action, midget wrestling, live music, and sled pulls in the Grandstand.

• The rodeo happens on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in DePew Arena at 7:30 PM.
• Midget Wrestling Warriors take over DePew Arena on Thursday at 6 PM
• Live music from Chayce Beckham on Friday at 7:30 PM in DePew Arena
• Pandemonium Sled Pulls on Saturday at 5:30 PM in DePew Arena

The carnival will be open from Tuesday through Saturday and the free stage will feature Magic Ben, Sword Swallower Dan Meyer, Hypnotist Corrie J (Tuesday at 7:30 PM only), and Jerome County Sheriff K9 Demonstrations.

There will also be a Mullet Competition on Saturday along with other free shows throughout the week.

The theme of the 2026 Jerome County Fair and Rodeo is Stars, Stripes, and Summer Nights.
