First up a story about well not that much of a rock star, but he sings and he did  a good deed.  I'm talking about Donnie Wahlberg, ya know from New Kids On The Block?  Anyways, he found someone a kidney by using Twitter!

According to Yahoo:

[O]ne of his 183,000 followers on Twitter retweeted a blog about a fan who urgently needed a kidney transplant.  Wahlberg has more than 30,000 tweets.  He retweeted the kidney plea in December and asked for help for Bobbette Miller.

From there a crap-ton of calls and requests poured into the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and it just so happened that of the callers was actually a match.

Ya know, 98.3 The Snake is on Twitter too - But instead of kidney's we're always searching for chesticles.

It seems Gun's N' Roses are working on NEW MUSIC!  According to DJ Ashba from GnR and SIXX A.M. he mentioned this in an interview:

"As of now, we're gonna be doing more touring for GUNS, and we're working on new songs every day for GUNS N' ROSES. [The new] SIXX: A.M. [album, 'This Is Gonna Hurt'] comes out May 3, and I'm scoring a new movie, and I'll tell you more about that later. [Laughs] But it's a horror movie, so it's good."

That's cool, just hope it's more popular then Chinese Democracy.  :-)
