A second backup player has announced he is transferring from the Boise State basketball program.

Pat Dembley, who never really fit into the Bronco culture is leaving after just one season.

Dembley, who came to Boise State via Iowa Western Community College, made headlines soon after arriving in town when he was arrested following a physical altercation in downtown Boise.

The 6-1 guard played in 30 games averaging 5.5 ppg and just about 17 minutes per contest. Because of his arrest and other reported attitude issues it was widely thought Dembley would not stay for another season.

Earlier this month Malek Harwell of Pocatello announced his was transferring but in Harwell's case it was a matter of not seeing much playing time next year because of the players in front of him that led to his decision to leave.

Boise State now has two scholarships available.
